With elegant designs inspired by 1920s Parisian society and the surrealist imagery of Man Ray, Christopher Alden’s Olivier Award-winning production returned to ENO in 2017 for its first revival, conducted by Baroque-specialist Christian Curnyn. One of Handel’s comic masterpieces, this joyous adventure of disguises, misunderstandings and high-society intrigues, creates an elaborate sequence of twists and turns that follows the exploits of four rival suitors as they go head to head to win Partenope’s love.

The prints are produced using the giclée method, which refers to an inkjet printing process, using light fast water based pigment inks. All frames are hand-made and hand-finished by skilled craftsmen. They use high quality, museum-standard acrylic glazing offering 92% clarity and 90% UV protection.
